Please note the following:

1 We accept manuscripts of any length by email or in hardcopy format.
2 Please include with your submission an outline of your work, a brief bio and a list of three comparative titles
   in the market.
3 If sending hardcopy, please use A4 paper and number the pages.

5 We are not able to return hardcopy manuscripts.
6 We do not encourage hand deliveries. If, for your own peace of mind, you wish to ensure delivery, please

7 We are currently not accepting poetry for publication, sorry.

Please allow Monsoon's editorial team 8 weeks to evaluate your submission. If you do not hear from anybody within 8 weeks, please email us.

Monsoon Books regularly works with literary agents from the UK and Australia (such as David Higham Associates in London and Cameron's Management in Sydney) and we are particularly keen to hear from agents with manuscripts set in Southeast or North Asia as well as manuscripts written by authors from this region.

Monsoon Books does not offer a manuscript appraisal service. Due to the large number of submissions, we are unable to offer a critique of rejected submissions. There are plenty of specialist manuscript appraisal agencies available, most of which have an online presence and can be found using regular internet search engines. Although Monsoon Books has no affiliations with any one manuscript appraisal agency, we do suggest looking at the following Australian agency (use of this or any other manuscript appraisal agency does not mean Monsoon Books will be more likely to accept your work for publication):
